"Finding Your Voice: Demystifying the Journey Towards Individual Style"

This workshop will cover the elusive topic of, “How do I make my workunique?” How did the giants of art develop the instantly recognizable look andaesthetic of their work? Barely two years out of school, Francis has battled thissubject on a daily basis, and has discovered that it is not a mythical ability someartists are born with. But rather, finding your individual voice is somethingever artist can do. It just takes a lot of work, and a focused game plan. Franciswill lecture for an hour, and give examples from his personal journey, alongwith a heavy does from art history. Francis will then spend the remaining timegiving a live demonstration on how to take one subject and interpret it in anumber of styles. He’ll further discus the thinking behind each direction - andhow each is more applicable to certain projects/clients.

Heattended Ringling College of Art + Design in Sarasota, FL and supplementedhis education at the intensive Illustration Academy.
